First Appoinment With Doctor Carter

Today we saw our little lima bean for the first time! I cannot believe I have a baby inside of me. We really like our OB-Gyn Dr. Andrew Carter at Valley OB-Gyn in Scottsdale, Arizona. Bad news is he said they couldn't find a heartbeat. It is the most depressing news I have ever had. He basically stated I may start hemmoraging at any time this weekend and I may need a D&C. Although the pregnancy wasn't planned I feel heartbroken and completely distraught. Ben didn't say much about it. He is more optimistic than I am. We have to go back on Monday to get my hormone levels tested again and pray they have gone up. It is such a long time away.
